Istanbul CVB member DEKON has obtained WWF-Türkiye’s Green Office Diploma!

DEKON has always set initiatives to make its events more environmental friendly, to minimize the carbon footprint, and by becoming many years ago a founding member of The Business Council for Sustainable Development Türkiye DEKON became an advocate for a sustainable focused business environment.

Sustainability is one of DEKON’s core values, and because of this DEKON strongly believes that while doing business all of its actions should be focused on environmental sustainability. That’s why DEKON decided to join the Green Office Program of WWF-Türkiye.

By conducting a rigorous assessment on daily spending on paper and electricity use and by changing behaviors within the years 2014-2015, the DEKON Head Offices have obtained the right to use WWF-Türkiye’s Green Office Diploma. This gives DEKON the impetus to continue its energy saving efforts in the years to come. Green Office Program is a practical environmental management system for offices which aim to reduce their ecological footprint.
